Bodrum International Ballet Festival has been held between 15-29 August 2008. The Sabancı University Sakip Sabanci Museum, with the sponsorship of Akbank and in cooperation with the Gala – Salvador Dali Foundation, is hosting Salvador Dali, the most spectacular brand of Surrealism. Dali’s works will be on display at the Sabanci Museum until January 20, 2009.The Sabanci University Sakip Sabanci Museum was established in 2002 as a part of Sabanci University. Looking over the Bosphorus in Emirgan, The Horse Mansion, once the Sabanci family private residence is housing a rich collection of Ottoman calligraphy and Turkish paintings from the 19th century onwards. Besides the permanent collection, the 6500 square meter museum is also home to temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
